Hey Sis,
If we haven’t met yet, I’m Krisette! I am a Wife, Mother, Educator, Nurse, Certified Childbirth Educator, and Postpartum Doula.
My life’s work is built at the intersection of justice, education, and motherhood. From the womb to graduation, I am here to ensure you are the intentional designer of your family’s legacy.
As a woman of faith and an advocate for all life, I take seriously my specific calling to empower underserved communities. Whether I am in your home for the 'Fourth Trimester,' on a stage speaking to your organization, or leading your children at Mosaic’s Learning Cooperative, my goal is to trade worry for wisdom and transform the experience of motherhood into a sacred act of resistance and power.
Together, we can create a narrative of strength, resilience, and a legacy of excellence.

My Birthwork Philosophy
I like to say that I have the eye of a nurse but the heart of a doula! When we sit down together, my commitment to you is anchored in a framework I call GLOW. It is how I ensure your transition into motherhood is a sacred act of power rather than a season of overwhelm. By merging the best evidence-based practices with a deep focus on equity, we create a sanctuary for your family to shine.
-
The foundation of my care is to Nurture your spirit and your body. I see myself as the guardian of your peace, protecting your bodily autonomy and your mental space. In a world that often tries to dictate your experience, I am there to ensure you can heal with dignity. By guarding your peace, we restore the sacred rhythm of your home, allowing you to be the intentional designer of your own recovery.
-
I don't just provide facts; I Educate to move you from a passive participant to an active leader. I lead with wisdom by providing unbiased, evidence-based research that serves as a "Defense against Disparities." We intentionally discuss the specific systemic challenges faced by Black, brown, and underserved communities, trading worry for wisdom and equipping you with the agency to navigate the medical landscape with confidence.
-
I look at your journey through the eyes of a nurse but the heart of a doula. I’m watching out for your needs—not just looking for "normal," but observing the rhythm of your physical healing and your baby’s development with a professional eye.
This includes being vigilant over the effects of "weathering" and chronic stress, identifying needs early to ensure your environment is a fortress of safety and peace for your entire lineage.
-
No one is meant to build their village alone. Reproductive Justice asserts that access to quality, culturally congruent care is a fundamental human right. When your needs move beyond my immediate scope, I don't simply hand you a list of names; I bridge the gap.
I connect you to a trusted network of specialists—from lactation consultants to mental health advocates—who understand our specific challenges. Together, we ensure your village is resilient and every resource you need is within reach. By 'Watering the Village' and cultivating connections with culturally competent professionals, we strengthen the roots of your support system so you have the foundation to thrive from the womb to graduation.
