7th Grade History, Civics & Justice: The Voice of the People
The Voice of the People
In this pivotal year, students transition from simple rote memorization to deep Discovery. The curriculum is designed to help students find their agency within the American democratic experiment. We explore how the "Voice of the People" has evolved—from the initial demands for liberty during the colonial era to the modern-day complexities of media influence and civic participation. By the end of the year, scholars will not only understand the blueprint of the U.S. government but will also have practiced the skills needed to influence it.
